The newly unified Nepal Communist Party has prepared the party’s statute, according to which both the chiefs–KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamala Dahal–have been provided equal rights and authorities.
Earlier, the party had given the responsibility of giving the final shape to the charter submitted at the Election Commission to its chairs.
The two leaders, accordingly, made few amendments and finalised the party law.
According to Bishnu Sapkota, press advisor of Dahal, the party’s other political documents have also been finalised.
As per the statute, both the leaders can call central meetings in coordination with each other, and their signatures will be a must to send circulars for internal meetings and committee meetings.
Meanwhile, the party has clarified that it is yet to assign its leaders including Central Committee members with party responsibilities.
