We improved ties with India only after New Delhi agreed for non-interference: Oli

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli says he took initiatives to improve relationships with India only after the Indian government agreed that it would not interfere in Nepal’s internal politics.

Addressing the Province 3 Assembly meeting in Hetaunda of Makawanpur district today, Oli said he did not bow down begging for the improvement, neither did he let India undermine Nepal’s sovereignty.

He reiterated that Nepal did not sign any agreement against national interests while he visited India in April first week. Oli claimed that his government took Nepal’s foreign relationships to a new height and its evidence were recorded.

“There are many things which verify our claim. We do not make hollow claims. Everything has been recorded.”
